Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
Elite Tutoring Perth is committed to providing high-quality tutoring services while operating fairly and transparently. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and missed sessions are handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Consumer Guarantees
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if our services:

Are not provided with due care and skill

Are not delivered as described

Do not meet agreed outcomes due to our failure
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Change of Mind
Refunds are not provided for change of mind, including:

Deciding not to continue tutoring

Scheduling conflicts

Lack of academic improvement

Student disengagement or non-attendance
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
To ensure tutor availability and fair scheduling:

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full

Missed sessions without notice are not refundable

Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without fee reduction
Exceptions may be considered at our discretion in cases of genuine emergencies.
5. Prepaid Packages and Programs
For prepaid sessions, packages, or holiday programs:

Refunds for unused sessions are not guaranteed once a program has commenced

Where a refund is approved, it may be calculated on a pro-rata basis

Any administrative or booking fees already incurred may be deducted
6. Online Tutoring Sessions
For online sessions:

Clients are responsible for ensuring suitable internet access and equipment

Technical issues outside our control do not automatically entitle clients to a refund

Where issues are caused by our systems, we will offer a reschedule or appropriate remedy
7. Tutor Availability and Service Changes
If Elite Tutoring Perth is unable to deliver a scheduled session due to tutor unavailability or unforeseen circumstances:

The session will be rescheduled at no cost, or

A refund will be provided where rescheduling is not possible
8. Behaviour-Related Cancellations
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without refund where:

Student behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate

Repeated breaches of our Terms & Conditions occur
9. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email and include:

Student name

Session or program details

Reason for the request
Refunds, where approved, will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
